Mediation, a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution, is used in family law to help parties wind down their relationships or unravel their conflict in a comprehensive & civil way--all while avoiding the courtroom.

While there are a wide range of commonly used tools & techniques in the field, no two mediations look the same. And that’s the point. With John’s guidance and support the parties personalize their conflict resolution process, setup the guardrails and control the ultimate outcome (if one is reached on consent).

There are no guarantees in mediation, except for: total and complete confidentiality; inadmissibility of mediation conversations and materials in any future litigation; space for compassion and understanding; and the ability to end the process at any time, no questions asked.

John offers mediation sessions virtually, on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis.

Sessions are calendared at your convenience and take place via Zoom.

John is certified under Part 146 of the New York State Unified Court System mediation requirements.
